Since I have been in the jewelry industry for more than 30 years, I think I am qualified to tell you a thing or two about what you should know before you buy jewelry.  One thing that just about everyone looks for is the best “deal”!  Now, if you were to tell me you wanted the best deal, I would ask you what that means to you.  You see, to some people, the best deal is all about price.  Well, what if you get what seems like a really great price, but the quality is less than great?  Is that a great deal?  No, not in the least.  And what if the service is under par?  Well, then you haven’t got a good deal.

Finding great quality, service and a good price at one location is doable.  But you need to do your homework.  Make sure you shop around at the mall stores, free standing stores and don’t forget the internet.  Sometimes, your really GREAT deals are on line.  On line stores offer everything from quality, to service, to price, to warrantees, and guarantees.  But if you are a die hard retail shopper and feel that you absolutley must have the piece in hand to make a smart decision, then go the mall or other retailers.  But remember this, Before you BUY, compare price, quality, service and warrantees before you pay for the merchandise.  Of course you always have ’so many days’ to exchange it or return it, but that is a drag.  Love it, then buy it.  Be happy with it.
