Born in into a family of jewelers, Carl Blackburn is a California-based designer that has been building his career and reputation since the late 1980’s. Over the last two decades his company has gone from a one-man operation to internationally recognized brand that produces high quality jewelry.

Since 2003 he has been operating an artisan’s studio, and producing iconic pieces that are inspired by his passion for history, architecture, fashion and nature. His work has been featured in countless jewelry magazines both in the USA and around the globe, and Carl is one of only a handful of jewelers that have their work showcased in both high-street stores and metropolitan art galleries.

Carl has described his work has a personal odyssey towards re-discovering the beautiful.

His latest collection is sensitive in both design and execution. Released in 2008, the collection features 25 select pieces that are handcrafted in 18-carat gold, and include eternity bands, colorful gemstone earrings, cufflinks and pendants.

Carl Blackburn believes that his jewelry embodies a special type of magic - a fusion of spirit, labor, dedication, craftsmanship and poetry that flows from the hands of the artisan to the wearer.
