Heart U Back Jewelry – In Support of the ASPCA
-
The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA) was the first humane organization to be established in the Western Hemisphere, and now has more than one million members.A non-profit organization, the ASPCA aims to provide means for the prevention of cruelty to animals across the USA, through methods such as humane education, shelter outreach, animal-assisted therapy and legislative services.
Jewelry designer Gavin Kovacs grew up in New York City, and was a regular visitor to the ASPCA headquarters. Amazed at the dedication of the volunteers, and the ability of these individuals to transform the environment into one of love and care for the animals, he decided to contribute in the way that he knew best, and created the Heart U Back jewelry collection.
The Heart U Back range allows those who love their pets to express their appreciation in the form of a bracelet, pendant, earring or charm. The jewelry has been designed and created to display the love and bond experienced between a pet and its owner.
The items are fun and trendy, and the pet owners are able to express their feelings and make a fashion statement.
As Gavin puts it:
“The love between pet and the pet parent is unconditional. Each item in our line conveys this special feeling. Everyone loves to wear jewelry and the Heart U Back collection makes you feel good about it!”
In an ongoing attempt to prevent cruelty to dogs, cats, horses and other pets across the country, Heart U Back has teamed up with the ASPCA to create a partnership beneficial to both parties. Each piece of jewelry in the latest Heart U Back release bears the ASPCA logo, and a percentage of each sale is donated to the ASPCA.
ASPCA President & CEO Ed Sayres commented:
“We are thrilled to be able to share this new jewelry with the pet-loving public. Aside from being able to outwardly express a love for animals through each piece, customers will feed good knowing their purchase helps the ASPCA save the lives of countless animals each day.”
The New York City headquarters of the ASPCA are the base for an adoption center, an animal hospital and a mobile clinic outreach program, as the ASPCA seeks to operate a full-service program. More details can be found by visiting the website www.aspca.org.
